Yin Yoga is a slower-paced and meditative yoga style that works deeply into the body with passive, longer-held poses. The yin style involves surrendering into poses and exploring them for longer periods of time in order to let go of tensions stored in the body and to calm the nervous system. Practicing this way helps to target deeper connective tissues and enter a meditative headspace.

Sound has been utilized in various cultures for thousands of years as a tool for healing. Sound helps to facilitate shifts in our brainwave state by using entrainment. By using rhythm and frequency, we can entrain our brainwaves and it then becomes possible to down-shift our normal beta state/normal waking consciousness to alpha/relaxed consciousness, and even reach theta/meditative state and delta/sleep; where internal healing can occur.
Our Power Vinyasa is a powerful, energetic form of yoga where students fluidly move from one pose to the next while connecting breath to movement. It incorporates strength, flexibility, balance, cardio and physical and mental stamina in one session. Our intention is for students to leave class stabilized, strengthened, enlivened, and nurtured.
